Merry Christmas!

I thought this picture looked very relaxing and warm! Merry Christmas Friends! I've been up north in Thompson for a week now and i got to admit, i've found it a much needed and relaxing time. Almost how life should be lived, to some extent...
... I always find Christmas an interesting day! I went and drove out for a coffee this morning, thank you Robin's for never closing ...too bad for the employee's though... anyhow i noticed how QUIET the city was... It's like everything goes to sleep on Christmas day and people take time for family etc... I know Christmas has been seen as a BIG marketing time and too a good extent that is what it has become... But we have a GREATER reason to celebrate this time of year and that's because a Saviour has been born and because of that we rejoice! Even though this day has become very commercialized, i like the way the world seems to shut down a little, if only for one day and a spirit of joy and love is in the air... That's what Jesus came to bring and it's cool that we still see that a little on this day once a year... Too bad it didn't happen more often...
Anyways i hope you are all having a great holiday! Merry christmas, look forward to getting back to the New year and Getting back to Youth and Deeper in January! God Bless,
Pastor Jordan.
